Pizza Imported from Detroit? →

I just found out there’s such a thing as “Detroit Style Pizza.” The website isn’t complete, yet, but “Detroit Style Pizza” did win third prize at the 27th annual International Pizza Expo. 

I don’t really understand the point of regionalizing pizza, but good on Detroit for throwing their dough in the ring. I just hope the Pizza Bubble doesn’t burst and all those hard working Detroit pizza workers are left on the curb begging for mozzarella.
